Job Overview

This is an exciting role leading and optimising a key value stream to drive quality, delivery and efficiency.
You’ll collaborate across Operations, Supply Chain and Customer teams to achieve outstanding results.

Your new role:

  • Value Stream Ownership: Responsible for the overall performance of the assigned value stream (Product Line), ensuring achievement of key metrics such as quality, on-time delivery and cost targets.

  • Assembly Operations Management: Serve as the owner of the Assembly value stream, overseeing scheduling, daily operations, coordination with demand planning for internal manufacturing and procurement functions.

  • Operational Reporting: Act as the primary liaison between Operations and Supply Chain reporting structures, ensuring accurate and timely communication of performance data / improvement initiatives.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Serve as a key contact for maintaining strong customer relationships both indirectly through Customer Service and Product Management teams also directly with customers when required.

  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations in accordance with company policies and government legislation.

  • Other Duties: Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by the business to support operational goals and continuous improvement efforts.

Your ideal background:

  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes and end-to-end operations.

  • Proven People Management skills with experience leading teams effectively.

  • Demonstrated Problem-Solving ability, with a proactive and analytical approach to resolving operational issues.

  • Experience in TEOA, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S implementation.

  • Background in Planning and Scheduling activities or exposure to production scheduling systems.

  • Working Product Knowledge relevant to the assigned value stream or product line
