Job Overview

We're seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to optimize assembly processes, ensure top-notch production quality, and support new product introductions. Your role involves driving process efficiency, providing training, and aiding in achieving daily business goals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Enhance current production processes for cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Document and fulfill requirements for seamless integration of new products into production.
  • Ensure accurate cost calculations using SAP.
  • Collaborate closely with NPI teams to uphold product standards.
  • Stay updated on technical advancements and ensure compliance.

What your background should look like:

  • Mechanical or Production Engineering degree (HNC or higher).
  • Proficiency in assembly techniques and manufacturing engineering.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting various production processes.
  • Competency in Microsoft software and MRP systems.
  • Strong grasp of quality assurance methodologies.
  • Proficiency in continuous improvement techniques.

Desirable Skills (Preferably within Aerospace, Defense, and Marine Industries):

  • Experience in fiber optics applications within Aerospace, Defense, and Marine industries.
  • SAP, Minitab, or similar software experience.
  • Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher).
  • Proficiency in design software like SolidWorks or Creo.
  • Project management skills.
  • Familiarity with digital machine connectivity.
