Responsible for conducting quality engineering assessments and defect investigations to support KPIs, production, customer service, and a Zero Defect culture.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Material Review Board (MRB) activities on the shop floor.

  • Address customer quality inquiries promptly and professionally.

  • Take ownership of quality assurance issues affecting TE products.

  • Maintain quality documentation in an organized manner.

  • Conduct 8D defect investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

  • Participate in manufacturing and control system audits.

  • Collaborate with departments to execute corrective actions and rework efficiently.

  • Support daily KPI monitoring and internal rework initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.

  • Perform additional quality-related tasks as required.

What are we looking for:

  • Experience with mechanical and electrical measuring equipment.

  • Ability to read engineering drawings (e.g., BS 308).

  • GCSE-level education; Mechanical Engineering qualification is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable with a strong quality mindset.
