TE Connectivity (TE) is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Test Technician II to join our Harrisburg Electrical Component Test Laboratory team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in executing and documenting test programs for TE Connectivity, contributing to the development and quality assurance of our products. Technicians are expected to maintain a high level of accuracy and precision in their work, as test results directly impact product development and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing on TE products for Engineering Evaluation and Qualifications.
- Prepare samples using hand tools and soldering techniques.
- Build test setups and equipment following mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and circuit diagrams.
- Utilize various mechanical measuring devices for product assembly and verification.
- Operate electronic testing equipment, including power supplies and specialized test instruments.
- Review and summarize test data.
- Write comprehensive test documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with internal product, development, and quality engineers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

What your background should look like
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in product testing or related field.
- Proficiency in soldering techniques.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
- Excellent manual dexterity and ability to work with hands for extended periods.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with MS Project is a plus.
