Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Assembly Operator I is responsible for assembling and testing electronic and mechanical components in accordance with standardized work instructions, manufacturing drawings, and operating procedures. This role requires mandatory proficiency in soldering, exceptional hand-eye coordination, microscope operation skills, and unwavering reliability in a precision manufacturing environment. 

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in small electronic assembly or related manufacturing field

• Proven ability to perform precision assembly work under microscope

• Proficiency with manual measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)

• Strong ability to follow detailed written instructions accurately

• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to follow verbal instructions clearly

• Ability to work in a controlled, quality-focused environment

• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining strict quality standards

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in AS9100 or ISO 9001 certified manufacturing environment

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform precise assembly of small electronic components using microscope technology

• Measure components and assemblies using manual measurement tools to verify specifications

• Maintain detailed documentation of assembly and quality checks

• Follow all written work instructions and verbal guidance from supervisors

• Ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards and procedures

• Report defects or non-conformances immediately

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

• Meet daily production targets while maintaining zero-defect quality goals

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $21 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
