MACHINIST II - 1st Shift
Job Overview
As a Machinist II at TE Connectivity, you will operate and set up CNC and EDM machinery to produce high-quality parts that meet the demands of industries including aerospace and defense. You'll work alongside a supportive team that values your expertise while you continue to grow your technical skills in a clean, well-organized, and safety-focused environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Set up and operate CNC machines and EDM equipment to produce precision parts.

Program, adjust, and edit “M” and “G” codes to ensure high-quality results.

Read and interpret blueprints and operation sheets to understand machining tolerances and requirements.

Use a variety of measuring and inspection tools to verify part accuracy.

Monitor operations for tool wear and machine performance.

Perform SPC and maintain accurate documentation of your work.

Maintain organization of tools and your work area.

Train and support other team members as needed.

Work effectively in a team environment focused on problem-solving and shared responsibility.
Schedule:

1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, with overtime available as needed.
This position requires access to information that is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent residents, persons granted asylee status in the U.S., or persons admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.
What your background should look like:

At least 1 year of CNC machining experience operating lathes and mills.

Familiarity with machining feeds and speeds, and a solid understanding of metals and materials.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measurement tools.

High school diploma or GED.

Must meet ITAR requirements, pass background check, and drug screening.
