Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure product and / or product components comply with specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release.
This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.
Responsibilities:
- Use standard inspection equipment, including Vision Systems, hand tools, go/no-go gauges, pin gauges, etc.
- Work flexibly across multiple inspection areas to meet customer demands.
- Set up, program, and operate measuring systems to ensure parts meet print dimensions.
- Establish daily priorities and identify the most critical tasks.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Utilize software applications such as Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
- Communicate inspection results to Engineering, Inspection, and Management teams.
- Train employees in using Vision Systems and other standard measurement equipment.
- Collaborate with Engineering to troubleshoot and resolve inspection-related issues.
- Complete and pass the Zeiss software (CMM program) training program.
- Enter, pull, and track data using SAP software.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers.
- Organize and oversee customer source inspections.
- Perform additional quality-related duties as assigned.
What your background should look like:
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience; Associate's degree in a technical specialty is a plus.
- 3 to 5 years of manufacturing Quality and/or Production experience preferred.
- CMM programming skills preferred but not required.
- Thorough understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, with the ability to measure features to these criteria.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Working knowledge of AS9100 preferred.
- Basic print reading skills may be tested during the interview process.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $55,400 – 83,100 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
