Job Overview


TE Connectivity's  HR Business Partner Hampton Plant fosters partnership across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives, strategies and policies of the organization. They work closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development (i.e. talent management, succession and change management) and has responsibility for their roll-out / execution in collaboration with the Regional HR team. 


TE Sensors BU is now looking for a HR Business Partner for its Hampton Site location, reporting into Director, Human Resources Global Operations & Quality. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills to drive continuous improvement and achieve operational excellence. They will engage with leaders to drive major transformation projects involving complex change management and introducing new ways of working. 
This is an Individual contributor role and primarily focusses on getting results by partnering with local leadership and HR Innovation Centers. 


Responsibilities:


•    Be the HR reference point for the local Hampton Site Management team. Provides leadership, counsel, and support to the team for key business initiatives and business-related matters and processes. 
•    Influencing and guiding plant leadership team and site employees in various aspects such as short- and long-range planning and conflict resolution
•    Be a driving force in ensuring a strong and committed culture of learning, transparency, ethics, passion, accountability, and efficiency.
•    Drive positive employee relations to provide an optimal work environment for all employees. Effectively deploy communication plans and utilize assessment tools (e.g. the employee survey) to determine organizational issues and action plans.
•    Build organizational capability through ownership of talent management processes including acquisition, assessment, performance management and employee development. Leveraging the Organizational Leadership Review (OLR) process and strategic succession planning outcomes/requirements.
•    Facilitate and drive key talent development plans to strengthen the talent pipeline for all critical positions including stretched assignments, coaching or mentoring programs, professional & leadership training to retain and develop talent.
•    Accountable for effective planning and execution of the Performance Management process - support on-time delivery of the compensation cycle in line with TE’s pay for performance philosophy.
•    Define recruitment strategies, work in partnership with the Recruitment hubs and advise hiring managers on staffing decisions. 

  • Engaging your team members in a manufacturing environment, to include site level participation. (Manufacturing plant floor). 
  • Provides HR services, guidance, and coaching to managers and employees, ensuring, alignment with corporate policies, goals, and objectives
     

Qualifications

•    B.S. degree in Business, HR Management, Psychology or related field. 
•    Minimum 10+ years of professional working experience in HR environment 
•    Previous experience in a manufacturing environment working as an HR leader/Supervisor/Manager, required.
•    Prior experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment, required
•    Strong knowledge of labor laws, safety regulations, and HR best practices.

•    Ability to influence, lead and drive execution into the functions/region through close partnership and collaboration with the broader HR function.
•    Proved track record in Talent Management, Change Leadership and Organizational Development.
•    Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced, international matrix organization.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $107,880- $ 161,760 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
