Plastic Engineering Intern

Job Overview

As a Plastic Engineering Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to;

  • Incorporate academic knowledge into hands-on work
  • Improve processes (Kaizen and other projects as a leader and team member)
  • Learn and Develop Scientific Injection Molding
  • Learn and Develop Tooling Design Skills 
  • Learn about Molding Equipment 
  • Work with Routing, Bill of Material and Cost Structure
  • Be part of the dynamic Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering environment
  • Work with cross functional teams like Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain

What your background should look like:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited University or College for the duration of the Internship
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Program, preferred Major(s): Plastic Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Data Science
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Good Analytic and Statistics Skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel Advanced and AutoCAD (or other 2D/3D CAD software) is preferred

This position will be located at our Greensboro, NC plant.
