Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Maintenance Teams perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure longer lifespan of machines and facilities. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Position Summary

Diagnoses and repairs machine breakdowns and may rebuild machines as required. Experienced in electrical, chemical, and pneumatic systems to run plating lines and facility. Willing to perform preventive maintenance on all lines and spare equipment. Self-motivated to learn new things while having a positive attitude with the goal of eventually performing all tasks on their own.


  • Assist Lead Technician in troubleshooting mechanical or electrical breakdowns of plating lines.
  • Replaces parts such as pumps, motors, drives, rectifiers, transducers, etc.
  • Completes all tasks assigned by Lead Technician. This includes work orders, parts inventory, and preventive maintenance.
  • Follows all safety guidelines including Lockout/tagout.
  • General housekeeping of work area
  • Other maintenance or plating line projects as assigned by Lead Technician.
  • Willing to work some holidays and overtime as needed.
  • Willing to work in a high paced, production environment with changing priorities.

Education, Training and Experience

  • AAS in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Technology or 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing maintenance which includes hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical repair, and chemicals.
  • Familiarity with the National Electrical Code is a plus.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and flow charts.
  • Ability to use multimeter, amp meter, micrometer.
  • PLC programming experience preferred or willingness to be trained.
