Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Operations Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations and short/long-term planning for the groups they manage. The Manufacturing Team Leader III (IND) will be responsible for supporting the Stamping Department's Supervisor and Value Stream Manager in directing and coordinating daily shift support activities for the production operators. This support includes, but is not limited to, ensuring associates are following safety standards, operating stamping machines, ensuring product is being produced to the specified Quality Inspection Plan to assure conformance requirements, following 5S + 1 standard work, maintaining department training and training records, and other job duties as assigned. Ability to address performance issues within their team and escalating safety, quality, and performance non conformances to their supervisor for resolution. Individual must be a team player that can work in a fast-paced environment with multiple changing priorities.

Your Role
Visually inspect product and gages per the Quality Inspection Plan
• Systematic tracking of defects. Team leader informs team members of defects detected in real time. Team leader identifies opportunities for improvements with team member input
• Ensure Standard Work adherence using Standard Work Audits. Reviews Standard Work Instructions with team members. Looks for opportunities to improve operational performance indicators (KPI's)
• Ensure completion and accuracy of required paperwork & process through verification of the change-over checklist. Monitors production, scrap, downtime, trace and repair logs related to Stamping equipment and labor reporting
• Initiates Line QRM and follows actions for all rejects (Internal and customer), rework, safety and productivity issues. Daily Line QRM review between the Team Leader and the Supervisor. Ensures team members are aware of Line QRMs and applies Lessons Learned
• Follow safety guidelines and ensures others are doing the same
• Leads creation and maintenance of Standard Work documents. Systematic review for all non-conforming incidents (quality, safety, productivity, etc.)
• Training of team members using Standard Work and skill matrix standard. Development of a rotation plan for team members. Independent assignment of team members to workstations according to the rotation and workstation skills training plan.
• Understanding and respecting safety instructions. Continuously seek out safety improvements. Adhere to 5S + 1 standards and requirements
• Involvement of team members in performance improvement process. Support actions and assignments to ensure conformance to TE policies and procedures
• Through knowledge of the department KPI's. Line QRMs and actions implemented from Line QRM's
• Performance Measurement (tracking of indicators & reacting hourly/daily)
• Acknowledge input from team members to drive improvements. Ensure implementation of improvement ideas
• Leads root-cause analysis of problems with the involvement of the supervisor or support functions
Required Qualifications
•Operate machines when needed & making minor adjustments to auxiliary equipment as required
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Intermediate computer skills using MS Office. Ability to efficiently use applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use various measuring devices
• Must be proficient in English language
Preferred Qualifications
• Associate’s degree in related discipline preferred
• 4+ years of related manufacturing experience preferred

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $20.96- 31.44 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
