Environmental Health and Safety Intern

Job Overview

As an Environmental Health and Safety Intern on our team, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Complement the site’s Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) team with technical & tactical environmental support, including inspecting, auditing, and sampling
  • Promote sustainability and environmental protection, and facilitate projects to drive continual improvement
  • Conduct job hazard analyses and recommend corrective/preventative actions, where EH&S hazards exist and work with cross functional teams to provide EHS support
  • Assist in managing site EH&S documentation to include program content and design, EHS data collection and analysis, training documentation, and scheduling

What your background should look like:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited University or College for the duration of the Internship
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Program, preferred Major(s): Environmental, Health and Safety or related field including engineering 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to read, write and speak English proficiently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to compile and analyze data, create Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations, and present identified opportunities to the site’s leadership team 


This position will be located at our Greensboro, NC location.
