Job Overview
Produce products in a timely and efficient manner to produce products for the customers.
Job Requirements
- Fabricates and assembles products using MIG and TIG techniques.
- Set up and operate various machines and assemble parts as directed by Cell Lead.
- Effectively monitor production equipment.
- Read and understand bill of materials and blueprints.
- Communicate with Cell Lead on all issues related to discrepancies on drawing or BOM.
- Inspect pieces/parts and ensure they conform to specification and industry standards.
- Operate air and power tools, as needed.
- Use measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, thread gages, gage pins and tape measure.
- Work closely with the Quality Department to ensure products meets Company standards.
- Maintain productivity at levels that match or exceed production standards.
- Responsible for following safety rules as well as using safe procedures.
- Keeping all tools and supplies in their work area put away in the appropriate location on a daily basis. Keep work area clean and organized.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What your background should look like
- High School diploma / GED or equivalent work experience.
- Welding experience or certification required.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiar with Excel.
- Read and understand blueprints/drawings.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Communicate effectively. Must be able to Read, Write and Speak English.
- Knowledge of various types of equipment and processes such as:
- Air and power tools
- Rulers, tape measures and gages
- Ability to work independently.
- Continuous standing, moving and reaching with arms and hand.
- Frequently walks, bends, lifts and carries items.
- Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 lbs.
- Work performed in a shop environment.
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, and odors.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $21.50 - 24.50/Hour + 10% Shift Differential for working 2nd Shift - This position will require 6 weeks of training on 1st shift from 6am to 2:30pm. (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
