Job Overview
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, precision, and building things that matter. As a Tool Room Technician, you’ll help build and maintain fixtures and stamping dies that support daily production. You’ll work closely with experienced toolmakers in a clean, safety‑focused shop environment.
Job Requirements
- Assist with building, repairing, and maintaining fixtures and stamping dies
- Use manual machine tools such as mills, lathes, and surface grinders
- Read and work from blueprints and technical drawings
- Square up material and prepare components for tooling builds
- Keep the tool room organized, clean, and safe
- Follow all safety guidelines and standard procedures
- Support other tool room activities as needed
Shift hours: 6 am to 2:30 pm Monday to Friday.
What your background should look like
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience working with fixtures, dies, or similar tooling
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently
- Comfortable with basic shop math and measurements
- Experience using air tools and power tools
- CNC experience is a plus, but not required
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Shop‑based environment with exposure to noise and dust
- Standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $55,200 – $82,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
