Job Overview

This is a great opportunity for someone who likes hands‑on testing, problem‑solving, and working closely with engineering. As a Product Tester, you’ll test newly designed graphite molds and help validate product designs before they go into production. Your work directly supports quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • Test new mold designs by performing exothermic weld tests
  • Partner with a Manufacturing Engineer to validate design accuracy
  • Inspect results, collect data, and provide feedback on mold performance
  • Maintain inventory and materials needed for testing
  • Use hand tools and precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
  • Support additional tasks as needed in the mold room

Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

What your background should look like

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical or manufacturing education is a plus
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings
  • Comfortable with basic math and measurements
  • Intermediate computer skills; exposure to CAD/CAM is helpful
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Clear communication and good time management skills

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Shop environment with exposure to heat, light, dust, and noise
  • Work includes high‑temperature materials and testing processes
  • Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Requires good hand‑eye coordination and visual focus

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $43,700– $65,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
