Job Requirements

• Process AutoCad drawings and design for new and existing products. Equipment and products are noted below but it is not an inclusive list.
• Process ECOs and MECOs.
• Design, develop and oversee manufacturing process with all equipment and tooling for products.
• Create and modify routings for existing and new products.
• Create BOM’s for existing and new products.
• Apply the appropriate industry standards to the design of products.
• Make recommendations for new equipment, fixtures, tooling, and processes.
• Review all blueprints to ensure they are up to required revision levels.
• Assist Sales in design support for new parts.
• Create or assist in development of work instructions for manufacturing use.
• Assist Engineering Manager and Plant Manager on projects, as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What your background should look like

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Cellular and lean manufacturing.
• Knowledge of UL standards.
• Knowledge of ASTM standards.
• Effective communication skills; written and oral.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient math ability.
• Proficiency in the following programs are required:
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Word
  • AutoCAD
  • Autodesk Inventor
• Work independently with little supervision or no supervision.

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time.

• Frequent bending, walking, talking and arm and finger movement.

Work Environment:

• Work performed in an office environment and occasionally in the manufacturing plant.
• Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, and odors.
