Job Overview

The inventory cycle counter is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records by performing regular inventory counts and investigating and resolving discrepancies.

 

Job Requirements

  • Count and verify stock levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, or monthly inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
  • Identify and reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and system records; investigate the cause of inventory variances and report findings to management.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager and Manufacturing Coordinator to support inventory management initiatives.
  • Work with various departments to ensure proper inventory management and control.
  • Utilize Business Central to record and maintain accurate inventory, including locations and shelf numbers.  
  • Identify and support process improvement opportunities to reduce inventory errors and increase efficiency.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to locate misplaced items or resolve stock issues.
  • Assist Manufacturing Office with various tasks including performing Material Handler job responsibilities as needed.
  • Monitor and report on trends or patterns in inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards for inventory control.
  • Assist in preparing inventory reports for management.
  • Participate in physical inventory counts during major stocktaking events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What your background should look like

  • High School diploma is required. Some college is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Cycle Counter in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to provide innovative solutions and be proficient at root cause analysis.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents that are written in English.
  • Forklift experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Knowledge of Business Central or another ERP system is a plus.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $40,400 – $60,500 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
