Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s internship program is designed to provide interns with real world experience to enhance classroom knowledge. Uniquely crafted assignments and meaningful projects provide interns with a challenging 10 – 12 week experience. Interns will gain exposure to senior leadership and be given professional development opportunities. At the end of the summer, interns will be provided the opportunity to pursue full-time placement within TE Connectivity.  

Responsibilities & Qualifications

The intern will be assigned to rebuild the electronic routing system in GRSV. The project scope will mostly be limited to labor rate analyses and data entry.

Responsibilities:

  • Ascertain standard labor rates for a multitude of operations and part configurations via labor log analysis or job shadowing where necessary with a focus on time studies.
  • Update the electronic routing system to reflect new rates, correct routing sequences and evaluate accuracy of the electronic routers against production work instructions.

 Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in an accredited university over Summer 2018 for a BS in Engineering, Supply Chain, or similar 
  • Experience in XactMan Manufacturing Software and Microsoft Office software is a plus.
