The Regional Sales Operations Leader is responsible for enabling consistent, scalable, and data-driven sales execution across EMEA and Americas. The drives GTM Excellence,  pipeline health and governance, CRM discipline, Demand forecasting, SIP Operations, performance insights, and operational cadence, so the regional sales organization can hit growth, margin, and customer outcomes. You’ll help turn sales strategy into execution. This role requires agility and comfort with ambiguity. As business priorities and market conditions evolve, the scope of this position may expand or shift. The successful candidate will proactively adapt, continuously improve, and help redefine the Sales Operations agenda to meet regional and global objectives.

Main tasks:

Sales Planning & Performance Management

  • Implement regional sales plans, aligning with global goals.
  • Own the regional sales operating rhythm (weekly/monthly/quarterly cadence), including QBRs and performance reviews.
  • Define and monitor regional KPIs: bookings/revenue, pipeline coverage, conversion rates, margin, and other operaitonal metrics.
  • Build and analyze performance  and insights that drive actions for sales leaders and reps.

Forecasting & Pipeline Governance

  • Lead end-to-end sales and demand forecasting for the region: methodology, cadence, assumptions, and accuracy improvement.
  • Run pipeline reviews, validate opportunity hygiene, and ensure consistent stage definitions and close plans.
  • Identify pipeline gaps early and recommend corrective actions (focus accounts, campaigns, coverage changes).
  • Conduct win/loss and pipeline conversion analysis to improve execution quality and predictability.

Process, Tools & CRM Excellence

  • Streamline sales processes to remove bottlenecks and increase efficiency.
  • Own regional adoption and discipline for CRM (SFDC) and sales tools.
  • Drive process standardization and improvements
  • Identify automation opportunities, reduce manual work, and improve data quality.

Territory, Coverage & SIP

  • Support territory design, account segmentation, target setting, and coverage models.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership on headcount planning, onboarding readiness, and ramp tracking.

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Act as the regional point of contact for Sales Ops programs, collaborating with Global RevOps, IT, and Analytics.
  • Align with Marketing on campaign performance and lead follow-up SLAs.
  • Partner with Customer Service/Supply Chain to improve quote-to-order execution and customer experience.

Your ideal background:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field
  • 15+ years in Sales Operations / Revenue Operations / Business Operations (with 3+ years in a leadership role preferred)
  • Strong experience in sales operations, forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM governance.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change in a matrix environment.
  • Technical Skills: High proficiency in Salesforce/CRM, Excel (advanced), and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), MS Projects/Equivalent
  • Competencies: Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and project management skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex data into decisions and actions.
  • Experience operating in a regional, multi-country environment.
  • Fluent communication in English, German is an advantage
