Job Overview

Develop and implement quality strategy, budget, policies, and systems; Supervise quality assurance activities with the objective of ensuring TE’s product quality meet customers and external agencies' standards within corporate quality systems, policies, and procedures; and relevant local regulations.
The primary objective of Quality Sr. Manager is to
  1. Lead Asia plants quality team to reach out the world-class quality level through continue improvement under direction of ‘Build in Quality’, develop the quality strategic plan to improve/sustain the customer satisfaction and Customer Quality Scorecard at world-class performance.
  2. Set up CoPQ (Cost of poor quality) and assure countries to plants to improve the Product Quality, Process Quality, Customer Quality, Supplier Quality as well as the Quality Management System through failure cost reduction and driving do right thing in first time.
  3. Define quality improvement roadmap in terms of quality system/process/supplier/design and drive its implementation in country to improve process/Customer PPM/and TEOA to meet the corporate and BU target.
  4. Promote the effectiveness of advance quality planning of the new projects and set up the collaboration with Engineering AQE team to enhance the Lean PD process.
  5. Deploy the supply quality management process into region as necessary.
  6. Lead the major customer/internal issue problem solving cross the region.
  7. Develop the QA functional capability and talent team (both soft and technical skills), promote the quality culture and great place to work.

What your background should look like:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above, with Engineering/technical background.
  2. Minimum 10 years’ working experience in quality (Automotive industry is preferred but not a must), with 5 to 8 years quality functional leadership experience.
  3. Strong team leadership with team management and development capability, team player.
  4. Detail and result oriented, problem-solving skill, convenience and influence, strong communication skill, voice out.
  5. Understand QMS and IATF requirement, could lead the team to drive the continuous improvement. Understand statistical process control, an expert of APQP.
  6. Fluent English
