Overview: Entire roles and responsibilities in new product design and development
Major Job Responsibilities: Receive new product development request from customers / Review customer requirements and its business validity / Benchmark competitor’s product / Product design / Design Verification
Objective and Scope: Quotation / New product design and development / Continuous product quality & cost improvement in new product development and serial production / Extraordinary Customer Experience (ECE)
Work Description
-Component selection / Product design through 2D & 3D tools / Organize product design review with responsible engineers / Continuous design improvement / Benchmark activity with competitor’s product / Collaboration with engineers from other regions
-Understand customer’s requirements and entire product development schedules based on customer master schedules
-Receive customer initial requirements and specification for new business opportunity / Review requirements and specification with responsible engineers / Create and Submit business proposal sheet
-Finding alternatively competitive solutions in serial production
-Respond quality issues, design changes, other customer miscellaneous requirements in serial production
Qualifications
Competencies & Skills
•2D & 3D Designing tools – CREO, CATIA, AutoCAD…
•MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
•TS16949 / APQP
•GD&T
•English Communication (Speaking)
•Knowledge in Mechanical Design
•Knowledge in Electronics & Electrical Architecture Design
•Fundamental Knowledge in Validation (Test)
Experience
•New or 2~10 years’ experiences in the design and development of new products(Related High Voltage Connector and relevant automotive part and etc…)
•Experience in project development in Automotive industry
•Customer engineering support & service

•Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
•Bachelor of Automobile Engineering
•Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
