Overview: Entire roles and responsibilities in new product design and development

Major Job Responsibilities: Receive new product development request from customers / Review customer requirements and its business validity / Benchmark competitor’s product / Product design / Design Verification

Objective and Scope: Quotation / New product design and development / Continuous product quality & cost improvement in new product development and serial production / Optimal engineering

Work Description

Component selection / Product design through 2D & 3D tools / Organize product design review with responsible engineers / Continuous design improvement / Benchmark activity with competitor’s product / Collaboration with engineers from other regions

Understand customer’s requirements and entire product development schedules based on customer master schedules

Receive customer initial requirements and specification for new business opportunity / Review requirements and specification with responsible engineers / Create and Submit product proposal documents

Finding alternatively competitive solutions in serial production

Respond quality issues, design changes, other customer miscellaneous requirements in serial production

Qualifications

•2D & 3D Designing tools – CREO, CATIA, AutoCAD… 
•MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word) 
•TS16949 / VDA 6.3 / APQP / Lean PD
•GD&T
•English Communication
•Knowledge in Mechanical Design
•Knowledge in Electronics & Electrical Architecture Design
•Fundamental Knowledge in Validation (Test) 

Experience

• 2~5 years’ experiences in the design and development of new products
• Experience in project development in automotive industry
• Customer engineering support & service
• Product quality improvement

•Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering 
•Bachelor of Automobile Engineering
•Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
•Bachelor of Electronics Engineering
