MANUFACTURING ENGINEER I
Job Overview
- In the development of product, the target cycle time and investment cost are established for optimal production by reviewing the process and key control points of the product as CFT members.
- Develops, implements, and maintains methods, operation sequences and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
- Coordinates with engineering on release of new products.
- Estimates manufacturing cost, determines times standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements.
- Maintains records and systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and set-up the tool for proto sample to meet customer requirements and schedule.
- Advance check and review the process for prevent problems before the mass production during proto sample production.
- Transfer machine and tool for mass production to operator with related training and documents after machine set-up.
- Analyze process cycle time, work methods, and types of defects to improve productivity.
- Prepare machine validation data and documents related to production according to set-up of mass production machine.
- Develop new technologies by collaborating, investigation and reviewing internal or external products and production lines for maximum productivity in order to meet the customer’s needs.
- Create an initial process map and identify best suppliers and new technology trends to create a competitive tooling cost.
- Create new ideas and apply new technologies with team members to solve customer complaints or quality problems within the process.
