PAYROLL ANALYST I

Position Summary

As part of APAC HR Shared Services team to provide support on Korea payroll process and local on-site services support to ensure effective payroll and time attendance transaction and local HR operation works, including payroll and time attendance execution for TE Korea company, on-site contact window from employee for HR related inquires, promote global HR services model adopted cross the Korea manager and employees, through continuous improvement and evaluation efforts, technology solutions and centralized shared services. 

Key responsibilities include:
•    Provides HR operational works support as local on-site contact window
•    Drive the HR services integration to aligned with regional hub scale advantage
•    Provides support for the day-to-day payroll operations.
•    Compile payroll data and prepare monthly staff payroll accurately and efficiently
•    Provides support for administration, basic configuration and maintenance of time & attendance system
•    Be accountable for payroll process improvement based on escalated enquirers from team members and employees
•    Audits employee data for accuracy and reporting.
•    Documents and maintains procedures, system configuration documents and training documents for Payroll and Time & Attendance.
•    Maintain and adhere to quality controls throughout the payroll process and ensure it is aligned with global standard
•    Make sure payroll process is in compliance with internal and external audit requirements
•    Participate in various HR projects and execute assigned project activities

Req. Experience/HR Knowledge

•    Bachelor degree (or above) or equivalent experience required, preferably in Accounting, HR, or related field.
•    3+ years of professional working experience in Payroll preferred.
•    Focused and proven success delivering an Extraordinary Customer Experience.
•    Experience with time and attendance system and plant payroll may be required.
•    Good oral and written in Korean and English communication.
•    Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
