TE Connectivity's Sales and Marketing Teams are responsible for the sales and marketing of TE's products, systems or services including sales oriented activities, market development and communications.

Roles & Responsibilities


Account Manager - North, to manage the Global Tier 1 in Harness Maker Group 

The role is responsible to execute the sales process and implementation of business unit strategy at the customer interface. Managing Major Key accounts, developing lasting customer relationships to identify business trends & driving growth programs such as design-in, drop-in & share gain. The role is also responsible for new customer development & activities such as tradeshows / seminars / Technology Days.



Key Responsibilities of KAM, North India –  BU is framed TE’s SET Methodology – Strategy, Execution, Talent. 


•    Develop and maintain strategic long-term business relationships with respective accounts (all decision makers) to promote TE Brand Value
•    Responsible to develop, implement & monitor Sales and Account Management Strategies (including pricing implementation)
•    New Business Development, Identify & attract new customers, pursue new applications, leading to profitable future business
•    Drive initiatives to improve profitability/share gains by implementing value add value engineering (VAVE) measures and value sharing with respective OEMs. 
•    Competition analysis and landscaping



•    Responsible for financial performance to achieve agreed on targets
•    Provide accurate sales forecast, supporting efficient planning of RM, products
•    Responsible for efficient management of receivable / payment collection, DIV, DSO
•    Negotiate and close deals or contracts with customers and provide operational guidance and support to relevant functional departments, to ensure smooth implementation
•    Preparation of detailed account plan for key accounts
•    Responsible for consistently adding new opportunities and growing the opportunity funnel
•    Responsible for managing the opportunities at each stage – from concept to production by collaborating across teams
•    Responsible for managing key metrices in SFDC such as pipeline, conversion, must wins
•    Delivering Extraordinary Customer experience to customers 

•    Work closely with regional / global team for effective cross collaboration
•    Key Stakeholder Management internally within TE and across the Key Accounts


BE / BTech Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Mechatronics. MBA preferred but not compulsory.


•    Overall ~3 - 7 years of Experience
•    Combination of Sales, Operations, Engineering experience preferred
•    Candidate should be from Automotive component supplier background
