Job Overview
The Shipping / Receiving Support II role provides advanced operational support to daily inbound and outbound logistics activities at NCDC. This position supports execution, coordination, documentation accuracy, and compliance across Shipping and Receiving functions. The role operates above standard Shipping/Receiving responsibilities and serves as a functional support resource to associates, while partnering closely with Supervisors and Logistics Leadership. This position does not include direct people management responsibilities.
Job Requirements
- 2nd shift
- Support daily Shipping and Receiving operations to ensure safe, compliant, and on‑time execution of inbound and outbound material movements
- Act as a functional support resource for Shipping/Receiving associates by providing guidance on standard work, priorities, and issue resolution
- Assist with workload coordination across docks, staging, and shipping lanes to support operational flow and shipment commitments
- Support carrier interactions, freight coordination, and dock activities as required
Documentation, Systems & Data Accuracy
- Prepare, review, and validate shipping and receiving documentation including Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing lists, commercial invoices, and customer‑specific requirements
- Execute and support SAP transactions related to receiving, shipping, inventory movements, and shipment processing
- Identify, investigate, and escalate discrepancies related to quantity, damage, documentation, or system errors
Process Support & Continuous Improvement
- Identify recurring issues, bottlenecks, or inefficiencies and communicate improvement opportunities to leadership
Communication & Escalation
- Communicate operational status, constraints, and issues clearly to Supervisors and cross‑functional partners
- Support shift handoff activities to ensure continuity of operations across shifts
- Escalate unresolved issues appropriately while maintaining focus on execution and compliance
Scope & Decision Making
- Operates with a high level of independence within defined procedures, work instructions, and policies
- Supports day‑to‑day operational decisions related to prioritization, documentation accuracy, and issue identification
What your background should look like
- 2nd shift
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Shipping, Receiving, or Warehouse operations
- Working knowledge of shipping documentation and warehouse processes
- Experience working in SAP or similar ERP/WMS systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $43,200 – $64,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
