  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and moving equipment

Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Maintenance team plays a critical role in keeping production running safely and efficiently. As a Maintenance Mechanic IV, you will perform advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This is a hands-on role suited for a highly skilled technician who can work independently and support continuous operations during overnight hours.

All team members are expected to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following TE Connectivity’s EH&S policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical equipment issues with minimal supervision
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) to ensure equipment reliability and uptime
  • Provide technical support to maintenance and engineering teams
  • Read and work from schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Troubleshoot and support basic PLC systems (ladder logic knowledge preferred)
  • Complete work orders and accurately document maintenance activities
  • Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas
  • Support additional maintenance and facility-related tasks as needed

What your background should look like

  • Option 1:
    Associate’s degree (AAS) in Electronics, Electro-Mechanical, or Industrial Technology + 2+ years of experience

  • Option 2:
    5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and motor controls

  • Option 3:
    Completion of a certified Journeyman or Apprenticeship program + 2+ years of experience

Preferred Skills

  • Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment in a plant environment
  • Basic PLC troubleshooting experience (ladder logic)
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Intermediate computer skills for maintenance systems and documentation
  • Experience with general building / facility maintenance

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $66,200– $82,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
