Job Overview

This role requires a seasoned HR professional to collaborate effectively across HR functions to ensure the successful delivery of strategic HR services aligned with key business priorities at the Greensboro location. The HR Business Partner will proactively identify and implement opportunities to enhance HR operational excellence and support continuous improvement.

In addition, this role will focus on building organizational capability to foster a high-performing, agile workforce. Key responsibilities include driving change management initiatives, supporting cultural transformation, and enhancing overall employee performance and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to understand organizational cycles and talent needs, and develop inclusive human capital strategies that build workforce capability to achieve business goals.
  • Provide coaching and consultation to managers and team members in areas such as performance management, employee retention, talent planning, leadership and career development, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
  • Leverage HR metrics and analytics to support data-informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a change champion and role model, promoting innovative approaches and technologies to enhance the learning and development experience for all employees.
  • Support initiatives that strengthen people and culture processes, including employee engagement, cultural transformation, and inclusion & diversity efforts.
  • Collaborate with value stream managers to design and implement an operations training model, and provide professional support in evaluating training effectiveness.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through offboarding, ensuring a positive and consistent experience.
  • Execute programs and initiatives tailored to the business unit, ensuring alignment, consistency, and timely delivery.
  • Monitor and support training and development plans specific to the business unit, ensuring accessibility and relevance for all employees.
  • Facilitate inclusive training sessions and workshops that promote growth and development.
  • Oversee site-specific leave of absence processes, including FMLA, STD, and related programs.
  • Implement HR programs within designated client groups, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
  • Provide support and backup to site HR leadership as needed.

What your background should look like

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • Preferably 5+ years HR Business Partner work experience in sizable Manufacturing or cross-culture / Matrix environment, or equivalent education or experience 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in employee relations, discipline, labor laws, FMLA, STD
  • Experience partnering with business leaders in a matrixed environment requiring influencing skills
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance
  • Must have an effective balance between strategic and tactical implementation skills
  • Expertise in training delivery as well as workshop facilitation is needed
  • Ability to act as a credible coach and facilitator and a credible role model for effective leadership and performance
  • Passionate and up-to-date understanding of Talent processes and practices
  • Hands-on program experiences in Leadership Learning, Performance Management, Talent Development, Culture Transformation, Inclusion & Diversity, and Employee Experience
  • Proven project management skill is required
  • Fast and agile learner with data mindset. Have a high level of interpersonal skills, process oriented

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $88,000 – $110,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
