Job Overview
TE Connectivity’s Account Management teams play a critical role in driving business growth by selling TE products, systems, and services, delivering in-depth technical expertise, and building long-term customer partnerships. Acting as trusted advisors, Account Managers represent the voice of the customer within TE and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
This role sits within the Industrial & Commercial Transportation Business Unit, OEM team, and is based in Sweden (Gothenburg area). The Account Manager will have full strategic and commercial responsibility for a Major Truck & Bus OEM customer, managing all of the customer’s sites across the EMEA region. The position combines strategic account ownership, commercial leadership, and strong technical collaboration, with accountability from early concept development and RFQ through to SOP and ongoing series production.
Job Requirements
- Key Account Manager based in Gothenburg area, Sweden. Represents TE as main customer interface and acts as Voice of the Customer within TE.
- Identify, develop and commercially manage new business opportunities from concept phase, RFQ through to SOP.
- Manage all existing commercial agreements with customer based on awarded business for region EMEA.
- Responsible for ensuring high customer satisfaction levels across the business functions and driving corrective actions where necessary.
- Drive activities to achieve commercial targets; revenue growth, cash flow, margin etc.
- Lead change management process for requests raised by both customer and TE.
- Is responsible for building strong relationships at all levels within the customer base to ensure effective communication across all the different functions and business areas.
- Works actively with the customer, TE engineering and product management to develop engineered solutions utilising TE's existing product portfolio and development capabilities
What your background should look like
- We are looking for an ambitious, aspirational and career driven Key Account Manager to join our Industrial and Commercial vehicle business unit, specializing in the Truck & Bus segment
- +5 years of sales experience with at least 2 years of experience working within the Commercial Vehicle or Automotive industry
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business management
- Self-motivated with the ability to perform in a demanding environment based on target setting and results.
- Ability to understand and create business cases, quotes/contracts and perform P&L review.
- Keen understanding of Automotive industry processes including main project milestone expectations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Flexibility and a willingness to travel
- Microsoft Office, Business Insights experience
- Driving License
- Fluent in Swedish and English. French or German also merited but not essential.
