As a Senior EHS Analyst, you will work within the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Team to ensure and monitor safety in the workplace, as well as providing technical support on management systems and will report directly to the Campus EH&S Manager.
What you will do
- Develop, maintain, and lead environmental, health & safety programmes.
- Develop, coordinate, and deliver EHS training programmes.
- Build relationships across the campus. Promote and drive a pro-active health & safety culture.
- Conduct internal audits and inspections, track timely completion of associated actions.
- Assess the introduction of new equipment, hazards, processes, chemicals, and layouts.
- Identify, report and trend leading and lagging EHS metrics.
- Determine and execute activities and projects to achieve the campus sustainability goals.
- Support the EHS accident and incident management process on site in accordance with HSA, OSHA and corporate requirements.
What your background should look like
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in a regulated manufacturing industry.
- A thorough knowledge of EHS legislation
- Thorough knowledge of Environment, Health and Safety legislation and experience in EHS management systems.
- Proven ability to influence safety culture.
- Self-motivated, results orientated and commitment to achieving objectives.
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work at all levels of the organization.
- Computer skills, including proficiency in using common word processing software, excel, database applications, presentation software, and email.
