MEAS IRELAND (BETATHERM) LTD. design, manufacture and sell negative temperature coefficient (NTC)Thermistor-based components and assemblies for sale into a range of industrial and commercial markets. Our business is highly customized and service oriented.  MEAS IRELAND (BETATHERM) LTD. Is recognised as an industry leader in providing excellent service to our customers. We have been providing thermistor-based temperature solutions to companies across the globe since 1983.

Design of NTC based Temperature sensor assemblies typically to meet customer specific requirements. Drive new product introduction (NPI) through all development phases for a variety of industries including Medical, Aerospace and Automotive. Execute associated Design V&V testing using metering and data collection equipment and associated software.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work on all elements of product development from concept generation through to design verification. 
  • Ability to support customers and understand their requirements and convert into a product specification.
  • To support technical investigations and provide resolutions to a variety of technical problems for thermal sensing products.
  • Create drawings and product documentation according internal & external procedures and release on our document control system
  • Work with Operations, Quality and Manufacturing to deliver on all Product Engineering activities.

What your background should look like:

Professional Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in R&D or Product Development Engineering in a related industry. 
  • Knowledge of thermal sensing technologies or electromechanical sensor assembly products highly desirable.
  • Experience in Data Acquisition equipment, for example LabVIEW software or equivalent, a distinct advantage.
  • Ability to work in an R&D Engineering Environment and contribute as an innovator

Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills

  •  Degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
  • Adopt a hands-on approach to work, with a high attention to detail. 
  • Ability to create new ideas and provide innovative solutions.
