Job Overview

Working as part of the Shipping/Warehousing Team, provide Plant-wide Shipping Support Service covering all shipping requirements.     

Job Requirements

• Warehouse:

  • Receiving, movements, storage, counting and issuing of materials
  • Complete all physical and administrative tasks.
  • Receiving activities including all PO, non-PO, and RMA receipts.
  • Ensure all inventory adjustments for the area are completed in full, with the required approvals as per SOP.
  • Responsible for ensuring the staff and visitors in the area comply with all Health and Safety requirements and use the necessary PPE.
  • Escalate any issues that prevents them from being able to complete their tasks in a timely manner.
  • Collection & movement of material between buildings

  Kitting:

  • Receiving, movements, storage, counting and issuing of materials
  • Fully trained to all the associated procedures and work instructions, ensuring compliance to Good Documentation Practice.

Additional Requirements

• Line Side Material Management:

  • Responsible for Line side material management activities include ordering, movement, storage and counting of raw materials, sub-assemblies and finished goods that are used or made as part of the production process within TE Connectivity Medical Galway.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all raw material used in production will be notified to warehouse to ensure replenishment.
  • Collection & movement of material between buildings

  Shipping Responsibilities

  • Competent in Microsoft Office programmes like word, excel & outlook.  Strong and competent SAP user
  • Previous experience in supply chain, logistics or material handling an advantage
  • Experience in lifting & handling equipment.
  • Experience with material replenishment and flow tools
  • MH are always expected to adhere to all health and safety requirements and to ensure that all required PPE is used.
