Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Financial Controlling Teams coordinate, administer, and control financial operations. They review, analyze, and interpret financial and budgetary reports, direct all aspects of accounting operations and the preparation of annual financial forecasts. They also oversee the development of financial accounting systems required to maintain reporting requirements.

The Regional Operations Controller must be a close business partner to the Regional Operations Manager.  The position is responsible for coordinating, administering, and controlling financial operations that provide support to multiple plants in the Americas region. Key responsibilities are to review, analyze, and interpret financial data, partner with Operations Management to achieve financial results, prepare financial forecasts and budgets.
Included in the knowledge areas are forecasting, budgeting, profitability analysis, accounting systems, internal control, financial reporting, management accounting information, working capital management, business studies and financial justifications
and anlaysis.

•    University degree in finance, accounting, or business management.
•    8+ years’ experience in Controlling and Finance assignments of increasing responsibility, including manufacturing finance experience related to budgeting, forecasting processes and consolidation
•    Proven track record of partnering with business functional leaders
•    Prior experience in a standard cost manufacturing environment
•    Understanding of manufacturing organizations, manufacturing budgeting, forecasting processes and functional expenses
•    Natural curiosity about business operations and processes
•    Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing teams as well as to develop direct reports and other team members
•    Positive and energetic approach with a ‘can do’ attitude and an open personality
•    Accurate, systematic, and independent work style
•    Strong problem solving, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
•    Decision maker and ability to influence others.
•    Able to link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•    Fluent in Spanish both written and spoken a plus
•    Comprehensive understanding of U.S. GAAP
•    Knowledge of SAP, HFM, Business Objects or similar.
•    Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and data consolidation tools.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $112,400 - $144,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
