Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Administrative Support Teams are responsible for office administration and daily clerical duties including basic schedule planning, travel arrangements, documentation, and file maintenance. Other responsibilities include scheduling conferences/meeting rooms and responding to general inquiries. They create and maintain office documentation and files and review drafts and finished internal/external communication documents.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Job Duties:
•Perform hands-on material failure analysis for customer request
•Assist in the new methodology development in advanced analytical technology
•Analyze the experiments data and write test report for customer requests
•Understand the principle of finite element analysis and be able to use simulation tool for material design.
•Be able to summarize and present one’s work to the whole R&D group

 

Professional Qualifications:

 
•Pursuing a BS or MS, preferably in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering.
•Motivated individual able to learn quickly and work with minimal supervision
•Good written and spoken communication skills
•Minimum GPA of 3.0 in Major
•Good team work to support projects
•Experience in 2 of the following scientific instruments and/or disciplines: Electron Microscopy, Fracture Mechanics/Fractography, Finite Element Analysis, Computed Tomography X-Ray, Scanning Probe Microscopy, Thermal Analysis, Analytical Chemistry, Ultratomy sample preparation.
