Job Overview
The Field Application Engineer is the primary relationship builder with customers engineering department and plays a crucial role in design-in of new and existing products across all TE IND subverticals. Furthermore this role supports as application subject matter expert the Account Managers and Sales Engineers with broader application and product specific knowledge and acts as an interface between the customer and the TE IND subverticals.
Job Requirements
- Drive demand generation and new product design-ins in EMEA+MEA West&South region
- Maintain customer relationships and ensure high satisfaction
- Collaborate with customer engineering departments
- Perform Voice of the Customer and communicate impact internally
- Create and maintain opportunities in Salesforce
- Understand customer applications, requirements, and competitive landscape
- Identify TE product gaps and new product opportunities
- Provide first-level technical support and follow up on improvements
- Organize technical workshops and events
Key Goals:
- Develop and manage customer opportunity pipeline
- Drive revenue growth and new product implementation
- Ensure customer satisfaction
What your background should look like
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (mechanics, electrics, electronics, or similar)
- 3+ years of industry experience in engineering (sales experience is an advantage)
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Fluency in English and French (Italian is a plus)
- Ability to simplify and explain complex technical matters
- Willingness to travel 50+% (mainly in France, Benelux countries, and Italy)
- Self-motivated with a passion for customer service
- Open-minded and innovative thinking
