Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.


The Supply Chain Analyst III is responsible for the planning and purchasing of raw material supporting production at the Fairview facility. This position will manage select suppliers to ensure on time customer delivery while managing inventory levels to prevent shortages and maximize turns. The Supply Chain Analyst III will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager. This is a 100% onsite position. 



  • Complete purchase requests with suppliers by inputting purchase orders, expediting deliveries, and verifying order confirmations.
  • Handle correspondence concerning shipments, delivery shortages, changes in quantity, delivery dates and prices and report such changes to appropriate parties in a timely manner.
  • Act as a liaison between suppliers and procurement to resolve supplier and procurement issues
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels consistent with targeted inventory goals and to ensure continuous production while maximizing turns. 
  • Ensure SAP parameters are maintained by monitoring minimum, maximum, safety, and current inventory levels, making recommendations to management for adjustments to levels. 
  • Monitor supplier performance by ensuring that product is delivered as scheduled and meets specifications; maintaining appropriate files and records of meetings with suppliers to ensure company requirements are met and that supplier is aware of their performance. 
  • Manage proper material flow to ensure best possible internal and external customer experience.
  • Maintain focus on short- and long-term goals, convey sense of urgency to make things happen and display a sense of urgency around obtaining results
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing other job-related tasks as needed; enabling other planners to achieve the best customer experience. 

What your background should look like:


  • BA or BS  (Materials Management, Business Administration preferred)
  • 5 years of related purchasing experience 
  • Knowledge of MRP processes; SAP proficiency; including bill of materials
  • Planning/Scheduling experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
