Job Overview
Manage two dedicated PM teams to ensure production equipment is properly maintained per the OEM recommendations.

Job Requirements
• Work with Production Scheduling, Value Stream Managers, and other employees to ensure production equipment is scheduled for PM’s at least 72 hours in advance.
• Create PM’s in a CMMS that include all PM tasks, BOM, proper interval, OEM manuals, pictures, and all other information to ensure PM’s can be completed as desired.
• Develop a PM audit process to ensure PM’s are achieving the desired results.
• Create a Visual Management system that informs production operators when the next PM is due.
• Report weekly on key PM Metrics – PM’s On-Time and Schedule Adherence.
• Ensure all PM work orders are closed out properly to provide accurate data for MTBF and MTTR calculations and other improvement projects.
• Develop a PM kitting process to eliminate wasted time looking for parts and tools.
• Ensure all Safety and Quality engagement activities are completed on time.
• Recognize Employees for outstanding efforts and results through various TE avenues.
• Perform actions and assignments to ensure conformance to procedures, policies, and methods.
• Selects and assigns staff, ensuring equal employment opportunity in hiring and advancement.
• Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
• Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures training goals are obtained.
• Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work performed and priority projects.
• Support and be accountable for department budget, cost savings ideas, and generating cost estimates as needed.
• Engage and drive outside suppliers and equipment manufactures for technical support and training needs.
• Lead, Support, and drive all OSHA, PPE, plant safety systems and policies including ISO, and TS 16949 requirements and standards.
• Lead, support, and be accountable for TPM and other maintenance systems used in within the facility.
What your background should look like
• AS Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing Technology with 8 years progressive maintenance and leadership experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years progressive maintenance and leadership experience.
• At least 5 years of CMMS database administration experience (Maximo, MP2, Maintenance Connection, or eMaint preferred).
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Knowledge of electric motors, controllers, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and vacuum systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, MTBF, and TPM preferred.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Must be proficient in English.
