TE Connectivity's Shipping & Receiving Teams perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties. They use computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying, and reporting incoming and outgoing shipments. They follow shipping practices and procedures, transportation routing, schedules and requirements. The Shipping & Receiving Teams receive incoming materials and prepare materials for shipment. They process freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents. They also route merchandise to destinations. 

Job Requirements

  • Using material handling tools such as forklifts and standard lifts to load and unload carriers as directed. Knows and executes applicable training, policies and procedures related to the operation of these tools for safe transportation and delivery of materials in distribution centers and/or manufacturing plants, always using appropriate tools and personal protective equipment. 

  • Documents arrival of shipments and enters the event in the database, along with the corresponding receipt transactions in SAP for payment of purchase orders to suppliers. 

  • Physically verifies that the part number and quantities of the received product match the information on the shipping guide and/or invoice. Generates corresponding labels and sorts the material by business unit and type of material for efficient storage. 

  • Stores the material in the rack location in the corresponding area according to the business unit and type of material using the appropriate equipment: order picker, turret truck, standard lift, scanner and/or SAP mobile computers. 

  • Receiving of Finish Goods from Manufacturing plant with the use of the appropriate material handling equipment. 

What your background should look like

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • 1-2 Years Warehouse Experience

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $33.200 –$49,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
