Job Overview

Sets up and operates machines and tools to perform various manufacturing operations and maintains them to adhere to quality standards.

Job Requirements

Assist leadership and operations equally in developing a diverse and flexible production team with Safety, Quality, and Delivery as the highest priorities…while leading/supporting 5S continuous improvement activity.

Safety compliance always…sets the example for others and is required to inform others of compliance when observed.  Willing to escalate when there are repeat offenders. Being MERT certified, Commander, Sweeper a plus. 

Quality verifications and habits are reviewed and improved daily.  Best practices in all scenarios to produce the highest possible quality of work performed. 

Deliveries – helps identify priorities and effectively communicates well with the rest of the team when changes occur requiring flex.  Fills gaps in the operation where needed to keep the operations moving (hands on). 

5S champion mentality always…lead with actions and by having shiftily mini Gemba walks with area team members for immediate improvements.  Leading others to participate on a routine basis…identifying others to be mini champions 

Onboarding and Training – consistent plans with routine follow-ups to ensure the level of details are being demonstrated and to ensure progress is being made.  Assist in AG5 accuracy. 

Assist with Tier 1 meetings when necessary, using the agenda provided (Safety, Quality, Delivery, LLS/5S, Equipment/Process Status, with area assignments. 

SAP proficient level 

What your background should look like

Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related work experience. Completion of high school or equivalent is usually required.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $Depends on Experience - 9% Shift Differential 5% Team Leadx (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
