Job Overview
At TE Connectivity, you’ll help bring our purpose to life by creating a safer, sustainable, productive and connected future. Your role as a Co-Op in the Energy Business Unit, will help us make the connections that move the world forward by:
• Solar Engineering Intern will learn about the global solar industry, connector designs, industry standards, and testing protocol
• Gain exposure to the LEANPD new product development process
• Work with a fast-paced, dynamic engineering team
Responsibilities
At TE Connectivity, you’ll be part of a global collaborative culture where your innovative approach and actions have the potential to transform the world of tomorrow. In this role you’ll:
• Perform connector sample preparation, execute experiments, and analyze test data
• Create 3D designs and drawings
• Support engineers with failure analyses
You’re the kind of person we are looking for if you:
- Are availabe to work in the Spring Semester (beginning January 2025)
- Have Received a High School Diploma or GED
- Are currently enrolled in a program or pursuing a BA/BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited college or university or have equivalent work history. (In certain circumstances, students who are taking a gap year will be considered.)
- Have previous internship or large project experience is preferred
- Are authorized to work in the U.S.

Competencies
COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $19.24--$40.84/HOUR (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
