MOLD MAINTENANCE MECHANIC - 1st Shift

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mold Maintenance Technician III to support daily tooling operations and repair of Operations equipment in our manufacturing facility. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for mold assembly, disassembly, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance activities. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure tooling readiness and drive continuous improvement in tooling performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform mold assembly, disassembly, and maintenance per production schedules.
• Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on injection molds to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate documentation on tool repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor tool performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability.
• Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking tooling activities.
• Support continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives to resolve repetitive tooling issues.
• Assist in maintaining tool inventory, spare parts, and coordinating with external vendors as needed.
• Work in a team environment assisting with trouble shooting and repairing equipment that is not operational and in need of repair.
• Adhere to 5S standards and TE procedures for a safe and organized work environment.
Job Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
• Hands-on experience in injection mold maintenance and repair.
• Familiarity with machining equipment, CAD/CAM, and basic CNC programming.
• Working knowledge of CMMS and SAP systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with production, engineering, and vendors.

Physical Requirements
• Able to work in a production setting with frequent standing, bending, and lifting to 50 lbs.
What your background should look like
Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of related work experience. Requires completion of high school. Vocational training or an AA degree is preferred.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $57,600 – $86,300 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
