As a Maintenance Mechanic IV, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving essential plant equipment across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and contributing to a high‑performing manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of plant systems including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and safety devices.
Work with PLC‑controlled equipment (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Direct Logic).
Diagnose equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
Recommend and execute equipment improvements.
Perform calibrations and adjustments to support consistent, high‑quality production.
Use PLC information and electrical knowledge to perform wiring tasks (low voltage to 480V, 3‑phase).
Utilize company software to track PM activities and maintain accurate records.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and reduce costs.
Collaborate openly with your supervisor/manager on issues and opportunities.
Follow all company values, safety policies, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain reliable and punctual attendance; occasional irregular shifts or on‑call duties may be required.


Additional Responsibilities

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Hours are from 7 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday.

What You Bring (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to operate facility equipment (compressors, boilers, fire systems) and assist with security‑related tasks.
Skilled in problem‑solving, collecting data, evaluating facts, and drawing accurate conclusions.
Ability to interpret a wide range of technical instructions.
Strong basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
Proficiency using a computer, spreadsheets, and reporting software.
Consistent use of required PPE.
Ability to follow written instructions and complete documentation accurately.
Logical approach to troubleshooting and prioritizing production needs.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Able to manage challenges professionally and effectively.
Clear and professional communication skills.
Commitment to continuous learning and skill development.
Strong time management and ability to deliver high‑quality work on schedule.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; Electrical Engineering degree preferred.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

Strong mechanical aptitude and related work experience, or a combination of education/experience demonstrating capability.

Journeyman electrical license preferred.

Physical Requirements

Reasonable accommodations may be provided.

Periods of stationary work while troubleshooting or repairing.
Frequent movement throughout the plant and ability to transport equipment/parts up to 40 lbs.
Maneuver motors, gearboxes, and conveyors requiring up to 85 lbs of force.
Ability to access lower levels of equipment and reach overhead during repairs/installation.
Use of ladders, stairs, scissor lifts, and boom lifts to access equipment.
Regular use of hand tools, equipment, and computer systems.
Ability to hear normal conversation levels and exchange detailed information.
Ability to visually observe equipment and communicate with team members.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $66,200 – $99,300 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
