LOGISTICS / DIST SUPPORT I - 1st Shift

Job Overview

The Logistics & Distribution Support I role is essential to ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of materials within our operations. This position supports warehouse and distribution activities, including material handling, inventory accuracy, and timely delivery to operational areas. You will work closely with internal teams to maintain high standards of safety, efficiency, and system integrity.

Job Requirements

  • Maintain safe working practices in line with TE’s 5S +1 initiative.
  • Ensure clear and organized forklift aisles and storage areas.
  • Accurately pick materials based on system documentation.
  • Deliver materials to operational areas as per system instructions.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as wave machines, powered pallet trucks, trolleys and forklift.
  • Maintain system accuracy by following documented processes.
  • Support stock-taking activities and inventory control.
  • File and process paperwork in accordance with system requirements.
  • Uphold good housekeeping standards within the warehouse.

 

Shift Schedule:1st Shift 7 am to 4 pm (hours are flexible to start at 6 am if preferred).

What your background should look like

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of relevant experience
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Strong Knowledge and Experience of SAP Systems.
  • Excellent collaboration skills required. Able to effectively interface at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of processes in Warehouse logistics
  • Manual handling awareness.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
  • Forklift experience preferred.

 

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $38,700– $58,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
