Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Professional Services Project Management team manages many aspects of customer solutions and product orders, from presales support through warranty to assure projects meet cost, schedule, contractual and customer expectations. The team works closely with product management, sales, customer care, manufacturing, finance, quality and other Professional Services teams. They are responsible for defining and creating project schedules, portfolio management, communication and execution of projects, stakeholder management, identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution, customer change management, and driving process definitions and efficiencies
⦁ Act as the “GM” for the project to ensure that the project meets the contractual obligations for TE.
⦁ Ensure all projects follow governance in accordance with TE Processes.
⦁ Actively identify and manage project risks to ensure they are either prevented or mitigated.
⦁ Identify and manage stakeholders (Product Management, Sales, Engineering, Senior Management, TE Customers and Suppliers, etc).
⦁ Identify and organize resources and project team to deliver a project as efficiently as possible.
⦁ Drive and lead project team (non-direct reports) by holding members accountable for deliverables and escalating issues as needed.
⦁ Identify and proactively overcome barriers and roadblocks during the project.
⦁ Work with team to establish robust project plans that include mitigation and contingency for identified risks.
⦁ Communicate frequently, clearly, concisely with the project team and all stakeholders including senior management.
⦁ Establish lead measures and milestones to track and communicate on project status to ensure issues and risks are dealt with before the impact the project’s cost or timeline.
⦁ Ensure that the project is aligned with the BU’s growth strategy and help stakeholders to understand how the project is aligned to the strategy.
⦁ Balance internal and external requirements and metrics.
⦁ Drive for continuous improvement with overall Project management execution processes.
⦁ Drive the use of agile practices and techniques to accelerate delivery.
⦁ Be willing to travel when required (10% - 25%).
What your background should look like:
⦁ 5-8+ years work experience
⦁ Bachelor's degree in related technical field, or other bachelor’s degree with work experience in large scale commercial/industrial Solar applications
⦁ Experience in manufacturing and/or services project management
⦁ Knowledge of agile, Lean, and stage gate methodologies
⦁ Experience with SAP systems
⦁ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and MS Project
⦁ Strong communication skills
⦁ Knowledge of Smartsheets, Planisware is a plus
⦁ PMI certified PMP is a plus
⦁ Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $94,400 – $141,500 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
