Business Development Manager - Solar & other Renewables

Job Overview

The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and executing new projects and accounts with EPC, Stakeholders, Developers, etc., in the Renewable market, with special focus on Solar projects, Offshore Wind and Battery Storage Systems (BESS). The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing the east coast accounts for TE Energy to become a strategic partner and to increase renewable market share and revenue, account penetration and customer satisfaction. 

Responsibilities

  • B.S. technical degree and 2+ years related experience
  • Preference will be given to candidates that possess technical backgrounds and have experience with solar, offshore wind and energy storage
  • Very good understanding of products and technologies for applications in commercial or large-scale solar applications.
  • Experience managing project teams, both directly and through matrix organizations
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong customer service skills with focus on listening to the customer.
  • Working knowledge of engineering design, procurement, and construction practices and procedures. Multi-project execution experience.

 

Requirements

 

 

  • B.S. degree and 2+ years related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and years of related experience
