Overview:

 

The Shipper / Receiver will be responsible for loading and unloading of the incoming and outgoing trucks as required. Collaborates with multiple stakeholders to manage the flow of materials and products through the warehouse, plans, and schedules shipments to meet customer deadlines.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading trucks upon arrival as required.  Must stage material in designated areas or place in racks as required.
  • Completing data entry.
  • Prepares outgoing materials using a variety of methods including, but not limited to, scanning, labeling, wrapping.  Completes required paperwork to accompany outgoing materials such as Manifest and Intercompany Bills of Lading.
  • Maintain recycle cardboard by creating bales, weighing and recording on tally sheet.
  • Help in maintaining inventory in warehouse by completing row audits and investigating variances.
  • Process picks as required.
  • General housekeeping of work area
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Collaborating with other departments for smooth and timely delivery of shipments and goods and assisting with creating shipping and receiving reports.
  • Tracking the performance metrics, resolving issues related to shipping and receiving that arise, and ensuring compliance with all the shipping regulations.
  • Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials in the warehouse and preparing outgoing materials with appropriate scanning, labeling, and wrapping techniques.
  • Managing the shipping and receiving of goods and supplies through the warehouse and consolidating the shipment receipts and reports.

 

What your background should look like

Qualifications:

  • HS degree or GED
  • Strong keyboarding and computer skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong Math skills
  • Experience using SAP is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in order to successfully accomplish job duties
  • Forklift Certification required; periodic recertification required
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Must be proficient in the English language

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $52,000 – $56,160 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
