Job Overview

Leads reviews and strategies to ensure that all products meet quality standards.

Initiate and implement continuous improvement on manufacturing processes (including process quality monitoring, scrap reduction, customer complain prevention, quality assurance and training) with the objective of meeting global TE and customers' quality and process requirements within established quality principles and department policies/procedures.

Job Requirements

Quality Control
(i) Conduct GRR, CPK analyse and reliability test during project pilot run, verify the on-going reliability performance, monitor the SPC control status during mass production in order to keep the product quality
(ii) Summary and analyze the daily quality performance, assure on-site work & quality instruction are executed; cooperate with team members to do root cause analysis, initiate quality improvement actions and follow-up in order to improve process quality and on time delivery.
(iii)Develop and align BKM with AQE/MPDE, next process team and ME in order to assure proper measurement and authentic data for analysis. 
(iv)Audit & revise the process to prevent potential quality risk in order to improve process capability.    

Continuous Improvement
(i) Monitor daily CoPQ data to find abnormals in production and call out improvement actions in daily meeting, ensure actions are well implemented in order to reduce scrap rate;
(ii) Recognize improving opportunities on CoPQ and customer complain reduction and initiate or join  6 Sigma & Kaizen activites in order to continuously improve quality performances.
(iii) Initiate or facilitate TEBIT saving projects in order to improve quality and productivity performance.

Reporting & Training
(i) Fast response customer complaints with 5D/8D reports in order to improve ECE;
(ii) Weekly & monthly report quality performance or risks in order to promote lesson learn or prevention.
(iii) Deliver training periodically to QC team on latest quality knowledge in order to improve their skills.

What your background should look like

Colleage or above, major in science or engineering
Skillful use of PPT, Excel, PowerBI, ect.
At least 8 years experience in quality assurance
At least 3 years  working experience in plating 
Willing to travel both domestically and abroad
