Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Continuous Improvement Teams design and implement programs and projects to improve products, services, or processes aligned with business strategies. They coach teams; establish program performance metrics; and establish process excellence supports.

What your background should look like:

 Responsibilities:
-    Closely work with TE SQE/ME/PDE/Procurement/PJE and clearly understanding the TE standards (DWG/Cosmetic standard/PBL NPI process/Change control/Workmanship, etc.) 
-    On-site supporting suppliers to keep the production yield and implement continuous improvement to manufacturing process.
-    On-site driving or coaching supplier team to implement Lean & 6sigma tools to cost down in suppliers to support the PBL goal realization.
-    Support SQE to do on-site process audit and provide improvement suggestion.
-    Support supply chain to enhance the delivery on time and suggest the improvement opportunity.
-    Lead VAVE project with engineering team till to gain benefit from suppliers.
-    Support suppliers to find the solution of CoPQ and Yield issue by data collection on-site and analysis.
-    Support PBL team members to achieve talent development plan.
-    Confidentiality Responsibilities: abide by TE confidentiality rules.
Requirements:
    Over 5 years’ working experience in Lean & 6sigma or Industrial Engineering or in related continuous improvement function areas, working experience in connector, Cable assembly, Cage assembly, Antenna manufacturing is a plus.
    Have successful experience of Lean/6sixsigma projects is a plus.
    2-3years on-site production management experience is a plus
    Lean / 6sigma black belt is basic.
    Connector/cable assembly/antenna/busbar manufacturing experience is a plus 
    Have knowledge of the supplier management, be aware of ISO9001/IATF16949 audit is preferred. 
    Ability for periodic travel required. (>50%)
    Strong communication skills, Fluent English is preferred
