Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Shipping & Receiving Teams perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties. They use computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting incoming and outgoing shipments. They follow shipping practices and procedures, transportation routing, schedules and requirements. The Shipping & Receiving Teams receive incoming materials and prepare materials for shipment. They process freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents. They also route merchandise to destinations.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process outgoing shipments in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with Warehouse & Shipping Supervisor and/or Team Lead for follow-up or specific instructions daily
  • Operate manual pallet jacks and moving carts periodically
  • Cycle Count inventory periodically
  • Cross-train in Stockroom

Shift: Monday to Friday 7 am to 3:30 pm 

Job Requirements

Education / Experience

  •  SAP experience preferred, but not required (training available).
  •  HS diploma or GED preferred.
  •  Computer skills required
  •  Ability to pass all pre-employment physical testing
  •  Ability to work in a team environment with Shipping team on shift as well as assembly / production operators

 

Physical Requirements

  •  Must be able to lift and carry a maximum weight of 30 lbs safely & dependably
  •  Must be able to push a maximum weight of 81 lbs safely & dependably
  •  Must be able to pull a maximum weight of 88.8 lbs safely & dependably
  •  Frequently required to extend arms and hands between knees & shoulders; frequent holding and grasping with hands.
  •  Frequent standing and walking is required in this job.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $43,200-$64,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
