Position Overview:

The Aerospace, Defense, and Marine (ADM) business unit of TE Connectivity has an opportunity for a Plant Financial Analyst supporting the Fairview Plant. This position will report to the Fairview Plant Controller, supporting the Plant to drive strong cost controls and opportunities for operational efficiencies. The individual will focus on standard costing, reporting, and analytics driving enhanced visibility into Operations performance and enabling actions to drive performance improvement. The financial analyst will also collaborate with other AD&M finance team members, finance shared services, and the Fairview Operations team to achieve plant financial objectives. Another key element of the role is to improve financial knowledge and controls within Operations ensuring 100% compliance with TE financial policy and increased awareness amongst non-Finance functions.

The individual will also focus on productivity metrics, Labor efficiency, Saving project pipeline, and support.

Finally, there will be strong interactions with Quality to support COPQ metrics reporting and improvements

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Finance reporting and financial analytics
  • Work with operational partners to ensure accurate standard costs are maintained for all products manufactured
  • Perform analysis and reporting on Inventory, WO variances, Standards Analysis, PPV, Scrap/PFO and Subcontracts.
  • Analyze plant spend, recovery and Earned hours
  • Support plant controller in establishing budget & forecast
  • Perform tasks in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and accounting policies to maintain a strong control environment for inventories, fixed assets, capital, and other areas
  • Review and approve savings projects and monitor achievement
  • Lead asset management, asset transfer efforts, and inventory accuracy
  • Analysis for manufacturing cost improvement and Capacity expansion.
  • Support plant TEOA projects and Quality improvement initiatives.

What your background should look like:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to costing fundamentals
  • Understanding of financial drivers and their impact within a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint
  • Experience in SAP preferred
  • Critical thinker with strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $88,400 - 132,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
